Biography
An Australian living between Montréal and New York, Renée is passionate about bringing creativity into the way we do business and experience the world.
As IQ’s Global Executive Director, Renée works to support IQ’s sixteen Board of Directors and global Membership on progressing initiatives for the organisation and its future growth. Renée is particularly passionate about delivering on the value of IQ Membership by increasing the level of business connections & project collaborations across the globe, as well as raising the profile of IQ in the international filmmaking & content creation community.
Renée has participated in twelve consecutive IQ Conferences to date, three as an Event Producer /Co-Host (Virtual 2020, Montreal 2013, Sydney 2011), five providing production support while participating as a Member of IQ’s Board of Directors (Dublin 2019, Paris 2018, Mexico City 2017, Miami 2016, New Delhi 2015), two as an active participant (Reykjavik 2014, Prague 2010), and two as a guest (Quito 2008, Los Angeles 2004).
In her “other life”, Renée is also Strategic Partnerships Manager at Float4, a multidisciplinary studio specializing in digital experience design, at the intersection of creative content production, real-time & interactive software development and new media technologies, for physical and virtual environments.
With 10 years of experience developing global partnerships across the multimedia and event production industries, Renée brings Client Account service, strategy, and Project Management experience into Business Development; building valuable, trusted relationships, and advancing projects that push the creative boundaries of art, technology and architecture.
