Biography

Maxwell Reed, co-founder and Creative Director of Kingdom of Something, is a Swedish-Canadian entrepreneur based in Amsterdam. He established his motion design company in 2016, serving clients such as Adidas, KFC, Panda Express, Samsung and others.

Past

While starting his career at one of the biggest digital production companies in the creative industry (Media.Monks) from early 2013 to end of 2016, he found himself in a very fast growing position while also working abroad for projects in Singapore, New York and Los Angeles. He then left Media.Monks to co-found the creative production company Kingdom of Something.

Company Overview

Kingdom of Something is a production company based out of Amsterdam (NL) that provides short form advertisement and brand content. We where founded in 2016 by four former classmates from Hyper island. Today KoS is run by two of the original founders Maxwell Reed and Alex Grolleman. We primarily focus on animation and motion graphics spanning from 3D to 2D, frame by frame and beyond. We also regularly dabble with post production and smaller live action shoots.
