Elisma Uys-Hanekom is a South African Executive Producer and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of production, advertising, and strategic communications. She is the Founder and Executive Producer of CreateSA.tv, a Cape Town–based production company delivering integrated campaigns for both local and international brands across digital, social, and above-the-line channels.
Elisma brings a strong hybrid background that bridges creative, strategic, and operational leadership. Her career spans senior roles across leading agencies, including VML (Wunderman Thompson), King James (Accenture Song), and TBWA’s Grid Worldwide, where she led high-profile accounts such as MINI Cooper, Standard Bank, FNB, and Qatar Tourism.
As a founder, she has successfully built and scaled CreateSA.tv into a multi-client production business, overseeing P&L, client partnerships, and end-to-end production delivery. Her work covers a broad range of sectors including financial services, automotive, telecoms, and lifestyle brands, with a focus on integrated campaign execution.
In addition to her commercial work, Elisma is deeply committed to fostering the creative industry through initiatives such as the Hello Ambassador Creative Festival, as well as mentoring and lecturing in marketing and communications.
