Biography
Josh is an award-winning writer/producer and President of Panacea Entertainment, a Canadian independent film and TV production company. Previously Josh was a partner at Minds Eye Entertainment and before that, Director of Development at Superchannel.
Long-form producing credits include “Forsaken” starring Donald Sutherland, Kiefer Sutherland and Demi Moore, “A Frosty Affair” starring Jewel Staite and Shawn Roberts, “I Think I Do” starring Mia Kirshner and Sara Canning, “Freezer Burn: The Invasion of Laxdale” starring Tom Green and Crispin Glover, “Intern Academy” starring Dan Aykroyd, Dave Thomas and Dave Foley, “Dead Simple” starring James Caan and Daniel Stern, “Something More” starring Jennifer Beals and “Stranger in Town” starring Harry Hamlin.
Television series credits include “Anash and the Legacy of the Sun-Rock,” “Myth Quest,” “2030 CE” and “Mentors,” which he also created and show ran.
Factual television credits include the series “A Total Write-Off!”and “Great Cemeteries of the World” as well as the one-off documentaries “Catching the Chameleon,” “The Fringe: Acting Up,” “Belly Dance Man: From Canada to Cairo,” “A Sorry State” and “Seeds of Change: The ECO Story.”
Josh has also penned a how-two book on screenwriting entitled “Stuck! Learn to Love Your Screenplay Again,” published by Brush Education

Panacea Entertainment is an independent film and television production company based in Western Canada established in 2003 by producer Josh Miller. Our production slate consists of feature films, television series and documentaries. Our favourite genres are comedy, drama and factual entertainment. Subject areas span everything from true crime stories to comedies to social issues and performing arts documentaries.
