Biography

Nebojša Taraba is a Croatian producer and co-founder of Zagreb-based production company Drugi Plan, which he established with Miodrag Sila in 2004.

With a professional background in journalism and publishing, Nebojša has brought a strong editorial and story-driven perspective to his work in television production. Together with Miodrag, he has helped develop Drugi Plan from a producer of original Croatian television formats into one of the country’s leading independent production companies, with a focus on high-end drama, documentaries, and international productions.

His producing credits include The Paper, the first Croatian drama series acquired by Netflix; HBO Europe’s Success, the platform’s first original series from the Adria region; The Silence; and the international period drama Hotel Portofino. More recently, he served as a Drugi Plan producer on BritBox’s A Taste for Murder.

Beyond production, Nebojša has served as a producer tutor for the MIDPOINT Institute’s TV Series Launch programme since 2019, supporting the development of emerging European television projects and producers.
