Congratulations to Liz Margolies, Ken Ross, and Phyllis Famiglietti who were recognized by our IQ Judging Panel of global industry peers to receive the IQ One World Award, in partnership with the USIFVF and IQ Member Lee Gluckman, for their film, What Goes Unsaid.

This Award is sponsored and selected by the International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers. The award carries significance within our network of ‘Trusted Filmmakers Connecting’ as it seeks to recognize cinematic excellence and innovative storytelling, based on universal themes of humanity and contributing to a global understanding and international cooperation. We were delighted to present the award in person at our annual IQ Conference in Dublin this September, and discuss over a presentation with Liz and Phyllis the process in creating this impressive body of work. What Goes Unsaid, from the National LGBT Cancer Network, New York City, addresses disparities in healthcare for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons. A statement from the Network notes the film “exposes the well-intentioned but misguided attempts at connection with trans and GNC patients, coupled with frank monologues about their REAL lives.”
