The 2019 US International Film & Video Festival (USIFVF) has begun accepting entries! The Festival offers five mini-competitions in one, recognising outstanding Corporate, Education, Entertainment, Documentary and Student productions. Entries are judged against peers, meaning Corporate competes with Corporate, and so on. The Festival includes a shortlist of the “Best of” categories of each, one of which will be granted the IQ One World Award, for a production that best exhibits cinematic excellence and innovative storytelling based on universal themes of humanity, and contributes to a global understanding and international cooperation. This Award is sponsored and presented by IQ as a way to support and improve international communications. The award winners are invited to join our annual IQ Conference to be recognised by IQ, their industry peers, who judge the award. Consider your network of industry peers, or any recent productions you’ve noticed who deserve recognition for innovative storytelling, universal themes of humanity for the IQ One World Award, or projects which motivate, stimulate or educate an audience for other USIFVF Award categories. Also consider competitors you believe are interesting to the industry or for IQ’s consideration, as the USIFVF is an opportunity for IQ Members to represent our global industry as judges. If you are interested in learning more, reach out to fellow IQ Member Lee Gluckman, Chairman of the USIFVF or click here.
